Bug or Fluke? - Guild Wars Forums

Had a couple of problems earlier today, and just wondered if it happended to anyone else, or if it was just a fluke.

First: I map into a town and notice that my guild cloak was gone, I zoned out of the town to see if it would come back and it did and didnt disapear again. A couple of minutes later a guildie made a comment that her cloak was gone too. She was in a mission and when she zoned into another area of the mission it came back too

second:about 20 minutes later I check the guild info and noticed that it said the same guild mate (we were the only 2 on at the time) had logged off 2 hours ago, and since I had just recently talked to her I knew this wasnt true, so I sent her a tell just to see if she set herself anon, and she didnt. She also checked and it said the same thing for her. The only way she was able to show herself back on line was to log out of the game all together and back in.

P.S. I was thinking about getting rid of the cloak all together, anyone know if there is anyway to do this once you already have a cloak? -

It was a bug during beta that is popping up again... I mentioned it already on the Bug report area. You have not lost your guild cape. it has to do with the servers updating across districts. momentarily the servers do not detect your guild and does not map the sprite image on your character, then it communicates to the central server your guild has no cape, and everyone in the guild loses it for a little while. Then suddenly it corrects itself and everyone has their cape back. Not sure what the err is but I have seen it a few times in the past. Its normally pretty rare, when they are bringing on more districts or something like that.
